A few Important things about my photography style

I am here to document moments that are true to who you are.

Creating a legacy

My ultimate goal is to create photographs of the beautiful and meaningful moments of your special day that you will admire for the rest of your life.

I am more concerned that you continue to love the photographs that you have hanging on your wall 30 years from now rather than the amount of likes you will receive on social media the next day. I want to start the legacy that is your family. The beginning of your gallery wall in your dream home, that you will cherish when you have grandkids running around.

The candid moments that bring you back the same feelings that you felt on that day are worth more than anything.

the outdoors are the best venue

I grew up in the smallest of mountain towns, Cashiers North Carolina. You most likely never heard of it and that something that makes it special. As a child, my brothers and I would run around climbing trees and going on a new adventure every week. Whether it was just swimming and kayaking around the lake or hiking and camping on the weekends, growing up in the outdoors is something I cherish so much.

That being said, I want to be the one to climb the biggest mountain to capture the lovely views of you and your loved one. Up on the highest cliff or down in valley by the riverside. I think it is so important to enjoy the outdoors around us while we are still able to. For my couples to have that special place to go back to and remember the quiet moments that I helped create and capture beautifully with a whole lot of heart.

This is your day

This is your wedding day, not just any photoshoot. You aren’t dressing up in a beautiful white gown just to have pictures taken, but to have a day to remember as one of the best. I am the kind of photographer who is there when you need me and out of the way when you don't. On a wedding day, I think it is so important to let the meaningful moments happen as they are without interruption.

In my opinion, a photograph is more successful if it shows true emotion rather than just smiles at a camera. I want the photos to show who you truly are and how you feel on your wedding day.

I am not the photographer that just shows up, I want to be there for every step of the way, documenting moments that are true to who you are.
